  • When is the Carroll Fun Run? – Thursday, October 10th, 2019
    • 2nd 9:00-9:45 AM
    • 3rd 9:45 10:30 AM
    • 4th 10:30-11:15 AM
    • 1st 12:30-1:15 PM
    • Kinder 1:15 – 2:00 PM
    • 5th 2:00 – 2:30 PM
    • COLOR PARTY 2:30 PM
  • Can I run with my kids? Yes! We have extended it to family members (you just need to send in the registration form that went home with your kiddo)
  • Do I have to register my student? YES, only if you plan to take advantage of online donations and emails. Go to CarrollPTA.com and register student. NO, if you plan to only send in check or cash.
  • Do I have to buy my student a shirt? No! PTA is buying all students a Carroll Fun Run t-shirt and pair of sunglasses. This t-shirt will also be worn for Field Day in the spring. If necessary, an additional t-shirt can be purchased.
  • How do I make donations?
    • With PayPal on CarrollPTA.com
    • Hard Copy donation form/envelope – going home October 1st and your kids need to bring it to school every time they get a new donation so we can add it to their class total.
    • Make checks payable to Carroll PTA
  • Does the money donated go to the school? YES!!!! 100% of all pledges/donations go back to the school.
  • Are these donations/pledges per lap? No!! These are flat donations. We are not counting laps…this is a run/walk at your own pace.
  • Grade Level Incentives – Each grade has incentives. Be on the lookout for an email from your child’s teacher.
  • 3 Total Challenges between Kickoff and the Fun Run – These challenges help encourage the kids to bring in extra donations and WIN the school challenge that day!
    • 1st Challenge : Monday, October 1st (ends Tuesday 8:00 AM) – Top 3 Classes’ Teachers will Sumo Wrestle at Celebrate Carroll on Oct. 4.
    • 2nd Challenge: Weekend Challenge: (Friday, October 4th thru Monday, October 7that 8am) Clown up your Teacher! The students with the highest donation from each grade level will get to “clown up” their teachers at a special assembly on October 7th at 2:15pm.
    • 3rd Challenge: Tuesday, October 8th (ends Wednesday, October 9th at 8am) -$5 Challenge! For every $5 in donations students will get double the tickets! Classes with 100% participation get a POPCORN PARTY!!!!
  • Overall School Challenge – 1.) When our school raises our goal of $27,400, Mr. Waldrip, Mr. Moore, and Mr. G will be made into Human Sundaes by the Top 2 Earning Students from EACH Grade Level. 2.) The class that donates the most overall, will all get clown noses and will get to perform at Celebrate Carroll!
  • Raffle Drawing – All Students will get one raffle ticket the first day. Students will earn 5 tickets for every
  • $5 that is donated. Students need to write their First /Last Name and grade level on the back of each ticket.
  • Winners will be announced at Celebrate Carroll on October, 25th. Some of the prizes include:
    • Nintendo Switch • Large Stuffed Pikachu
    • Ipad 4 mini
    • Surprise Poopsie Slime Purse
    • Beats
    • Kids Edition Echo Dot
  • Thank you Prizes will be awarded to students on Fri. 4th, Wed. 9th, and Wed. 16th. Please see the Prize Flyer for details. All prizes were donated by Phoenix Roofing. Last chances for prizes and drawing eligibility is October 15th at 8:00AM.
